Terms of Use

These are the terms and conditions for safe and smooth service usage.

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to comply with and stipulate matters concerning the conditions and procedures for using services provided by Saekim Plastic Surgery Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the "Clinic"), as well as other necessary matters, in accordance with the Telecommunications Business Act and its Enforcement Decree.

Article 1 (Purpose, etc.)

The purpose of these Terms of Service is to stipulate basic matters, such as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities, conditions of use, and procedures between the Member and Saekimps Plastic Surgery Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the “Hospital”) regarding the Member’s application for services (saekimps.co.kr) provided by the Hospital.

Article 2 (Effectiveness and Change of Terms and Conditions)

① These Terms and Conditions shall be effective for all members who wish to use the Service.

② The contents of these Terms and Conditions will be posted on the service screen or disclosed to members through other means, and will become effective when a member who agrees thereto signs up for the service.

③ The Hospital may amend these Terms and Conditions if deemed necessary, and in the event of such amendment, it shall announce the changes without delay in the same manner as described in Paragraph 2. However, any changes to important provisions regarding the rights or obligations of users shall be announced at least 7 days in advance.

④ If a member does not agree to the changed terms and conditions, they may discontinue use of the service and terminate the service agreement.

Article 3 (Rules other than the Terms and Conditions)

Matters not specified in these terms and conditions shall be governed by the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Medical Service Act.

Article 4 (Definition of Member)

A person who has obtained the qualifications and rights of a customer by accessing the site and entering required information such as name and email address.

  1. Our hospital's news mail service
  2. Our Clinic's Online Consultation Room / Reservation Service
  3. Sections and content services for the institution's online members
  4. Other various services provided by this institution in partnership with other companies

② The Institute may provide the service specified in Paragraph 1 after notifying the Member of the details and date of provision of the service to be changed in the manner prescribed in Article 7, Paragraph 2.

Article 5 (Establishment of Use Agreement)

If the customer clicks the “Agree” button in response to the question “Do you agree to the above terms of use?” when applying for use, they are deemed to have agreed to the terms.

Article 6 (Application for Use)

Application for use, or membership registration, is carried out by the customer recording the following information on the application form.

  1. ID
  2. Password
  3. Name
  4. Tel
  5. Email
  6. Medical treatment status

Article 7 (Acceptance of Application for Use)

The Hospital approves the application for service use for customers who have accurately filled out the details specified in Article 6.

Article 8 (Restrictions on Approval of Application for Use)

The hospital may not approve applications that fall under any of the following subparagraphs.

  1. Cases where service provision is technically impossible
  2. In cases where a false application is made during user registration, such as using a false name or another person's name.
  3. If you apply by omitting or incorrectly entering user registration details
  4. In cases where it undermines social order or public morals, or where the application is made for the purpose of undermining them
  5. If the customer has lost membership status due to reasons attributable to the customer.
  6. If other application requirements set by the hospital are not met
  7. Membership registration suspended only in cases where consent to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy is not given

Article 9 (Change of Contract Terms)

If there are any changes to the information provided at the time of application, members must update it using the prescribed form and method through a separate usage method determined by the hospital.

Article 10 (Purpose of Service Provision and Scope of Use)

The hospital operates this service free of charge to provide information on the medical services it offers. All services, with the exception of surgery reviews, are available for viewing without membership registration. In accordance with the Medical Service Act, surgery reviews are available only after membership registration and login.

Article 11 (Commencement of Use of Service)

① In principle, the Hospital commences the service from the time it approves the member's application for use.

② In the event that the service cannot be commenced due to operational or technical difficulties at the hospital, a notice will be posted on the website or the members will be notified.

Article 12 (Service Usage Time)

① In principle, the Service is available 24 hours a day, 1 days a year. However, the Service may be temporarily suspended for operational or technical reasons of the Hospital, and may also be temporarily suspended for a period determined by the Hospital for operational purposes. In such cases, the Hospital will provide notice beforehand or subsequently. (However, the above clause excludes 'KakaoTalk consultations,' 'telephone consultations,' etc., under the category of "medical appointments.") ② The Hospital may divide the Service into specific ranges and determine the available hours for each range separately, and in such cases, will provide notice of the details.

Article 13 (Deletion of Posts or Contents)

① The Hospital may delete any content within the Service (including content exchanged between members) posted or transmitted by a member without prior notice if it is determined that such content falls under any of the following subparagraphs, and the Hospital shall not be held liable for this.

  1. In cases where the content damages the reputation of the hospital, other members, or third parties through defamation or slander.
  2. Cases involving the dissemination of information, text, images, etc., that violate public order and good morals
  3. In cases where the content is recognized as being associated with criminal activity
  4. If the content infringes upon the hospital's copyright, third-party copyright, or other rights
  5. If the content is unrelated to the services provided by the hospital
  6. Posting unnecessary or unauthorized advertisements or promotional materials
  7. In cases where the content is created by unauthorizedly using another person's ID (resident registration number), name, etc., or where information entered by another person has been forged or altered without authorization
  8. Cases where the purpose of posting is violated, such as posting the same content multiple times.
  9. If it is determined to be in violation of other relevant laws and regulations or hospital guidelines, etc.

② The Hospital may separately establish and implement detailed usage guidelines regarding posts, and members must register or delete various types of posts (including messages exchanged between members) in accordance with such guidelines.

Article 14 (Definition of Data Disclosure)

As this service is provided free of charge for the public interest purposes stated in Article 10 of Chapter 3, the hospital may disclose the following matters.

① Information regarding techniques and medications used during surgery

② Medical reviews published with the consent of patients of this hospital (after logging in)

Article 15 (Method of Disclosure of Materials)

In principle, the method of disclosure of materials that may be disclosed as referred to in Article 14 of Chapter 4 shall be based on the following methods.

① Method of posting using a website or other websites

② Method of posting by inserting into print or promotional materials

③ Method of posting via in-hospital imaging equipment

④ Other posting methods determined by the hospital within a scope that does not violate social customs and morals

Article 16 (Compensation for Damages)

① If the Hospital suffers damages as a result of a Member violating the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, the Member who violated these Terms and Conditions shall compensate the Hospital for all damages incurred.

② If the Hospital receives claims for damages or lawsuits, or other objections, from a third party other than the member due to an illegal act or violation of these Terms and Conditions committed by the member while using the Service, the member shall indemnify the Hospital at their own responsibility and expense; and if the Hospital is not indemnified, the member shall compensate the Hospital for all damages incurred as a result.

Article 17 (Exemptions)

① The Hospital shall be exempt from liability regarding the provision of services if it is unable to provide services due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.

② The hospital shall not be liable for any disruption in the use of the service caused by reasons attributable to the member.

③ The Hospital shall not be liable for any loss of expected profits incurred by the Member through the use of the Service, nor shall it be liable for any damages, such as those arising from materials obtained through the Service. The Hospital shall not be liable for the content, including the reliability and accuracy, of any information, data, or facts posted by the Member on the site.

④ The Hospital has no obligation to intervene in disputes arising between members or between a member and a third party through the service, and is not liable for any damages resulting therefrom.

Article 18 (Jurisdiction)

① In the event that a dispute arises between the hospital and a member regarding the use of the service, the hospital and the member shall consult in good faith to resolve the dispute.

② If the dispute is not resolved through the consultation under Paragraph 1 of this Article, both parties may file a lawsuit with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.

(Appendix)

(Enforcement date) These terms and conditions are effective from August 2020, 9.
